(* 1987) is a Czech pianist. In 2002 she started studying at the Teplice Conservatory in the class of Prof. Věra Vlková. She continued her further studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she worked from 2007 to 2010 under the supervision of Miroslav Langer. She finished her studies in 2013 in the class of František Malý. In 2012 she studied at the Hochschule für Musicund Theater Leipzig with Prof. Alexander Meinel within the Erasmus exchange program. She participated in several international masterclasses, where she studied with eg. Avo Kouyoumdjian, Pierre Jasmin, Frederic Lagarde, Irina Nevodová, etc.
During her studies she also took part in several national and international competitions (Competition of Czech Conservatories, 2004 – 2nd Prize, Pro Bohemia Ostrava in 2002 and 2004 – 3rd prize and the prize for the best interpretation of Antonin Dvorak, Beethoven International Competition in Hradec nad Moravicí, Smetana International Competition in Pilsen, International piano Competition in Italy Valtidone International Johannes Brahms competition in Portschach, Austria 2006 – 4th prize in the category of chamber music with clarinetist Peter Kubik and others).
A sa soloist she had the opportunity to play Beethoven’s Piano Concerto in c minor, op. 37 with Chamber Orchestra of Conservatory in Teplice as well as Piano Concerto a minor, Op. 54 by Robert Schumann with the North Czech Philharmonic under the baton of Charles Olivieri – Munroe.
Michaela Hajíčková is currently involved in chamber music and teaching.
